Common use of Cardholder Account Information Clause in Contracts

Cardholder Account Information. Merchant shall not sell, purchase, provide, or exchange Account information in the form of imprinted Sales Slips, carbon copies of imprinted Sales Slips, mailing lists, tapes or other media obtained by reason of a Card transaction to any third party other than to Merchant's agents for the purpose of assisting Merchant in its business with Household or pursuant to a government request.

Cardholder Account Information. Merchant Merchants shall not sell, purchase, provide, or exchange Account information in the form of imprinted Sales Slips, carbon copies of imprinted Sales Slips, mailing lists, tapes or other media obtained by reason of a Card transaction to any third party other than to Merchant's Merchants' agents for the purpose of assisting Merchant Merchants in its their business with Household or pursuant to a government request; provided, however, that the foregoing shall not limit Merchants' rights to maintain and use information as to its customers generally, regardless of whether or not such information is also Account information.
