Common use of CAREER SERIES Clause in Contracts

CAREER SERIES. ‌ The classification of Sheriff’s Senior Deputy salary range is approximately ten percent (10%) higher than that for the classification of Deputy Sheriff. For historical purposes, it is noted that it was the intent of the parties to incorporate the duties of detectives, identification technician, and Field Training Officer into the classification of Senior Deputy. The parties agreed to terminate the special pay practices and differentials associated with these assignments upon implementation of the Senior Deputy classification.
