Carpeted Areas Clause Samples

The 'Carpeted Areas' clause defines the specific parts of a property that are covered with carpeting and outlines the responsibilities related to their maintenance, repair, or replacement. Typically, this clause will specify which rooms or spaces are considered carpeted and may detail the standards for cleanliness or condition that must be maintained by the tenant or owner. Its core practical function is to clearly allocate responsibility for the upkeep of carpeted surfaces, thereby preventing disputes over wear, damage, or end-of-lease cleaning obligations.
