Common use of CDL Consequences Clause in Contracts

CDL Consequences. Employees found in violation of the FHWA's drug and alcohol rules may be disciplined up to an including termination in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.081. An employee, who notifies the Superintendent or his /her designee of an alcohol or controlled substance problem prior to being notified of or being subjected to an alcohol and/or drug test, will be provided an opportunity to seek rehabilitation. An employee may use sick leave for such treatment or up to one month of unpaid leave for rehabilitation (including in-patient treatment).
