Common use of Ceasing Services upon Termination Clause in Contracts

Ceasing Services upon Termination. If, at any time in the progress of the Design of the Project, the Governing Board of the District determines that the Project should be terminated, Architect, upon written notice from the District of such termination, shall immediately cease Services on the Project. The District shall pay Architect only the fee associated with the Services provided since the last invoice that has been paid and up to the notice of termination.
