CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. The District shall provide all classroom and other training required by law or regulations for bus drivers to renew their California School Bus Driver Certificates, at regular or overtime rates as applicable.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. The Board of Education will reimburse the cost of renewal of the teaching certificate of the teachers covered by this Agreement. It shall be the teacher’s responsibility to furnish in a timely manner any documentation necessary to update or change data required for renewal of teaching certificates.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. 33 Each individual staff member shall be responsible for seeing that their certificate(s) are 34 current and renewed when due and that outside District teaching experience, military 35 service time and cumulative sick leave are properly documented and submitted to the 36 Human Resources Department. 37 Section 12.5 – Payroll
38 A. All staff members shall be paid one-twelfth (1/12) of their annual salary on or before 39 the last District business day of each month beginning with the month following 1 initial employment; provided, such employment commenced by the fifteenth of the
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. Teachers who are not working toward an approved Master’s program and teachers who have completed their Master’s program must comply with the following:
i. Each educational advancement on the salary schedule shall be fifteen (15) hours of college graduate level course work in K-12 related educational fields.
ii. The hours toward educational advancement on the salary schedule should enhance the teacher’s current or potential future assignment. Beginning with the school year 2015-2016 all courses must receive advance approval of the superintendent. The hours or credits must relate to the teacher’s competency in what to teach, how to teach or how to more effectively fill the role of a teacher. This subparagraph (ii) does not apply to any school mandated courses. Some examples may include (but not limited to):
a. Courses related to the teacher’s assigned area of teaching, or endorsed area. An endorsed area shall be any area listed on a teacher’s teaching certificate.
b. Courses related to classroom management, teaching methods, study of the profession or functions of teaching, etc.
c. Courses in guidance and counseling, which shall include courses beneficial to teachers working with students in the classroom.
d. Courses designed to help the teacher with instructional strategies for meeting the needs of special populations of students. (Special Education, Gifted, Chapter, Multi-cultural, ESL, etc.)
e. Courses required by the state, school district, or school accrediting agencies.
f. Courses in computer technology designed to assist in the delivery of the curriculum.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. It shall not be Our incumbent to give notice of renewal to the Certificate holder. The contribution for the renewal of the Certificate shall be deemed to be due on the date on which the Certificate expires. However, We shall remain liable for fourteen(14) days from the expiry date of the Certificate provided that by the last day of the said fourteen (14) days the renewal contribution is actually made unless We or the Certificate holder had given notice that the Certificate would not be renewed. The Certificate shall not in any event be renewable when You attain the age of eighty (80) years old.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. It shall not be Our incumbent to give notice of renewal to the Participant. The contribution for the renewal of the Certificate Schedule shall be deemed to be due on the date on which the Certificate Schedule expires. However, We shall remain liable for fourteen(14) days from the expiry date of the Certificate Schedule provided that by the last day of the said fourteen (14) days the renewal contribution is actually made unless We or the Participant had given notice that the Certificate Schedule would not be renewed. The Certificate Schedule shall not in any event be renewable when the Covered Person attains the age of eighty (80) years old. Where the context so permits, words importing the singular number only shall include the plural number and vice versa and words importing the masculine gender only shall include the feminine gender and neuter gender and words importing persons shall include corporations.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. The District will reimburse bus drivers for the cost of a California Special Driver Certificate. The District shall provide or reimburse bus drivers for the cost of renewing his/her health examination required by the State of California. Bus drivers shall be responsible for the cost of their California Driver’s License renewal.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. The school district shall reimburse teachers for the cost of teacher certification renewal to a maximum $125.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. Certificates must be revalidated prior to the current certificate expiring. The Licensee is responsible for timely certificate renewal. BioGro will normally inform the Licensee of the requirement for Certificate renewal during the current certification cycle.
CERTIFICATE RENEWAL. Each individual staff member shall be responsible for 5 seeing that his/her certificate(s) are current and renewed when due and that outside District 6 teaching experience, military service time and cumulative sick leave are properly 7 documented and submitted to the Human Resources Department.
