Certification Preference Clause Samples
The Certification Preference clause establishes a party's requirement or preference for certain certifications to be held by the other party or by products and services provided under the agreement. In practice, this clause may specify that vendors must possess industry-standard certifications, such as ISO or specific safety or quality credentials, as a condition for contract eligibility or continued performance. Its core function is to ensure that the contracting party receives goods or services that meet recognized standards, thereby reducing risk and ensuring quality assurance.
