Common use of Certified Athletic Trainers Clause in Contracts

Certified Athletic Trainers. Each Club shall employ two Certified Athletic Trainers on a full-time basis. Both trainers will travel with the Club on the road; provided, that one trainer may remain in the Club’s home city if necessary for the Club to fulfill its obligations to disabled players who do not travel with the Club. Individuals newly appointed as trainers shall be certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) or the Canadian Ath- letic Therapists Association (CATA), or shall be physical therapists licensed by an appropriate state authority.
