Common use of Certifying Authority Clause in Contracts

Certifying Authority. The National Fund Directorate (NF) shall act as the Certifying Authority. The National Fund Directorate is an administrative unit within the Ministry of Finance. The NF is placed under the responsibility of a Deputy Minister of Finance responsible for the financial management of the EU Funds. The Director of the NF shall be the Head of the Certifying Authority. The roles and responsibilities of the Certifying Authority are stipulated in the Regulation, in particular Article 5.4 thereof.
