Common use of Change in Appointment Level for Tenured Part-time Member Clause in Contracts

Change in Appointment Level for Tenured Part-time Member. If a tenured part-time member has had an increased workload as per Article 10.3.1.2.1 beyond the level of his/her tenured appointment and the additional workload continues at the new level for three years on an annualized basis, the member’s appointment shall be adjusted accordingly. If the workload decreases for three consecutive years on an annualized basis the faculty member shall be returned to the original appointment workload.
