Common use of Change in Scope Clause in Contracts

Change in Scope. Outlet Stores may request in writing an expansion of the scope of the licenses granted under this Agreement to include new trademarks, service marks or other proprietary designations; new products or services; new retail formats or business models; and/or new jurisdictions. Sears may approve or reject such expansion request in its sole discretion. If Sears approves such expansion request, Sears reserves the right to charge a royalty for the expanded rights.
