Check and Training Allowances. 31.1. The following allowances are included in the Annual Base Salary for Check and Training Pilots for the duration of their appointment: (a) Training Pilots (Captains and First Officers) will be paid an amount of 10% of the annual base salary of a Captain; (b) Senior Training Captains will be paid an amount of 13% of the annual base salary for a Captain; and (c) Check Captains will be paid an amount of 16% of the annual base salary of a Captain. 31.2. Check and Training Pilot appointments are as follows: (a) Training Pilot (Captain and First Officer) appointments are for a minimum of six (6) months and may be terminated on two (2) months’ written notice; and (b) Senior Training Captain and Check Captain appointments are for a minimum of two (2) years and may be terminated on three (3) months’ written notice.
