CHECK WITHHOLDING/REQUIRED DOCUMENTS. 1. MCOE may require unit members to provide legally required documents or to follow required procedures related to credentials, health tests, fingerprints and reports. 2. In the event a unit member does not submit these documents or written reports or follow written required procedures, he/she may be subject to having his/her pay warrant withheld pending submission of the documents or completion of the procedures. 3. The unit member will be notified three (3) times during the school year before a warrant is withheld. The notice(s) will be given ninety (90) days, forty-five (45) days, and ten (10) days prior to the end of the pay period in which the warrant is to be withheld. 4. This notice shall specify that failure to comply may result in the withholding of the final pay warrant of the school year if the required documents and reports are not submitted by the last day of school. Employees will be presented with a list of all required reports and procedures with which they must comply no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the last day of the school year. 5. Whenever the unit member has any questions regarding the application of this Article, he/she may request to meet with the Superintendent/designee. 6. Upon resolution or compliance, the pay warrant shall be released to the unit member immediately.
