Chemical Dependency Treatment. We cover medically necessary services for the treatment of chemical dependency in a network hospital, chemical dependency treatment facility, or a community residential facility. In order for a facility to be a network provider, the facility must meet specific requirements including, but not limited to, the following: • The provider must be licensed under the laws of the State of Rhode Island or by the state in which the facility is located as a hospital, a chemical dependency treatment facility, or a community residential facility for chemical dependency treatment; AND • The provider must sign an agreement to provide covered chemical dependency services.
