Common use of Children’s Services Division Clause in Contracts

Children’s Services Division. The Corporation shall supply the following Uniform & Clothing Allowance to all Early Childhood Educators in the Child Care Centres operated by the Children’s Services Division: The Corporation will maintain a supply of lab coats in colours other than white and winter parkas, for each full-time employee responsible for outdoor supervision, keeping such articles clean and in good repair. For part-time and supply employees, spare lab coats and winter parks will be available at the Child Care Centre for their use, and such articles will be kept clean and in good repair. 31.02 The Corporation shall supply protective clothing for employees working in machine rooms in the Administration and Technical Services Unit. 31.03 Effective January 1, 2009 and each year thereafter, the Corporation will pay one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) towards the purchase of C.S.A.-approved safety footwear to each employee who is required by the Corporation to wear such footwear. This payment will be automatic, via regular pay.
