Common use of Choice of Law; Governing Law Clause in Contracts

Choice of Law; Governing Law. 4.1. Except as provided in the arbitration subsections in Section 3, above, this Agreement and any and all Claims that relate in any way to this Agreement, whether based in contract, tort, fraud and other intentional torts, statute, common law and/or equity, are governed by and construed in accordance with federal law, and to the extent that state law applies, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia shall apply (without regard to internal principles of conflicts of law).
