Common use of City Vehicle Inspections Clause in Contracts

City Vehicle Inspections. City shall have the right to inspect, or cause to be inspected, all vehicles operated under this Agreement at any time, with or without prior notice to Contractor. If City determines at its sole discretion that emergency conditions or factors affecting safety or security require otherwise, City shall give at least 24 hours notice of any such inspection. City shall also have the right to require from time to time a written statement from Contractor setting forth the condition of City equipment or any part of it. Contractor shall furnish such a statement to City within ten (10) days after receipt of the City’s demand. Should the City determine, in its sole discretion that any City equipment has not been maintained in accordance with the Agreement, the City or its designee shall advise of all deficiencies to Contractor in writing. Except for safety-related deficiencies, which shall be corrected prior to operation in revenue service, Contractor shall have ten (10) calendar days to correct the reported deficiencies.
