City’s Commitment to Provide Affordable, Accessible Housing. The City shall take the actions set forth in this Agreement and such other actions as may be necessary to provide accessibility for Persons With Disabilities in its multifamily housing-related programs, and shall ensure that the City, Subrecipients, and Owners comply with the obligation to operate their multifamily housing programs and Housing Covered by this Agreement in accordance with the Accessibility Standards. Among other things, the City shall ensure the production of the Target Number of Units, over the Term of the Agreement, by inspecting Existing Housing Developments to determine compliance with the Accessibility Standards, by providing Accessible Housing Units with Accessible Routes in Housing Developments Covered by this Agreement, and by causing Subrecipients and Owners to carry out construction to remedy non-compliance with the Accessibility Standards and other applicable requirements set out in this Agreement.
