Common use of Claim Settlement; Exculpation Clause in Contracts

Claim Settlement; Exculpation. GROUP acknowledges and agrees that Manager shall have discretion to compromise, settle, write off or determine not to appeal a denial of any claim for payment for any particular professional service rendered at the Practice. Further, GROUP agrees to hold harmless Manager and its officers, directors, agents, contractors, representatives and employees, from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, claims, causes of action, and expenses associated therewith (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees) caused or asserted to have been caused, directly or indirectly, by or as a result of any acts, errors or omissions hereunder of Manager or any of its officers, directors, agents, contractors, representatives and employees, in performing Manager's billing or collection duties hereunder.
