Clarification of Terms and Conditions. A. Termination of a contract shall be defined as the ending of a continuing contract or a limited contract before the expiration time period specified in said contract. B. Non-renewal of a contract shall be defined as a failure by the Board to issue a new contract to an employee when the time specified in the employee’s contract expires. C. Suspension shall be defined as the removal of an employee from his or her assigned duties. D. Except as provided in section 9.3 regarding contract terminations, it is the intention of the parties that the provisions of this Article shall govern all aspects of non-renewals, notice of suspension, discipline, and evaluation of employees. All statutory provisions in Chapter 3319 regarding these subjects are hereby waived and superseded as provided by O.R.C. Section 4117.10(A).
