Personal Leave. Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Personal Leave. Subject to operational requirements as determined by the Employer, and with an advance notice of at least five (5) working days, the employee shall be granted, in each fiscal year, up to fifteen (15) hours of leave with pay for reasons of a personal nature. The leave will be scheduled at times convenient to both the employee and the Employer. Nevertheless, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to grant the leaves at such times as the employee may request.
Personal Leave. After the Trial Period, the Employee shall be eligible for days of ☐ paid ☐ unpaid time off per year for personal and/or medical issues. Any unused Personal Leave shall be: (check one) ☐ - Converted to cash at the end of the year at a rate of $ per day. ☐ - Eligible to rollover up to days to the next year. ☐ - Forfeited at the end of the year. ☐ - Other: . If for any reason the Employee depletes their amount of days of personal leave in a given year, he or she ☐ may ☐ may not be able to use any remaining vacation time.
Personal Leave. A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day per fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than six (6) months.

Such requests are to be submitted as far in advance as possible and a written reply will be given. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Personal Leave. The Employer may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that they receive reasonable notice, in writing, subject to the operational requirements of the employer. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure, the reason for the leave, and the date of return. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied.
Personal Leave. Leave may be granted to any supervisor, upon request, for personal reasons. No such leave shall be granted for the purpose of securing other employment, except as provided in this Article.
Personal Leave. (a) Each Employee shall be entitled to three (3) Personal Leave days each year, from April 1st through March 31st. Employees shall request such days as far in advance as possible. These days are for the purpose of attending to personal matters and family responsibilities, including attending appointments with family members. While the use of Personal Leave days is not restricted from being combined with vacation or long weekends where applicable and appropriate, Personal Leave days are not intended for the purposes of extending time off from work. Requests for Personal Leave shall not be unreasonably denied.
Personal Leave. An employee shall be allowed two days in any calendar year from his/her regular vacation allowance for personal leave. The Agency/Department Head shall not deny a request for this leave except for reasons critical to the operation of the department. Such personal leave shall be in segments of one-half day or more for non-exempt employees as defined by the FLSA.
Personal Leave. The provisions of this clause apply to full-time and regular part-time employees, but do not apply to casual employees.
