Common use of Clarification of Terms and Conditions Clause in Contracts

Clarification of Terms and Conditions. a. The term "teacher" refers to all personnel covered by this agreement. b. Termination of a contract shall be defined as the ending by Board action of a continuing contract or a limited contract before the expiration time period specified in such contract and in accordance with 6.H (1) of this agreement. c. Non-renewal of contract shall be defined as a failure by the Board to issue a new contract to a teacher when the time specified in the teacher's present contract expires and in keeping with the State Statutes and 6.H of this agreement. d. Suspension, as used in this procedure, shall be defined as the removal of a teacher from his/her assigned duties in accordance with 6.J of this agreement.
