Common use of Clarification Clause in Contracts

Clarification. Where the term “Consultant” appears in the following “Nondiscrimination Clauses”, the term “Consultant” is understood to include all parties to contracts or agreements with the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas. During the performance of this contract, the Consultant, or the Consultant’s assignees and successors in interest (hereinafter referred to as the “Consultant”), agrees as follows:
