Common use of CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL Clause in Contracts

CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL. Consultant agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders, and regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. § 740-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. § 1251- 1387). The Consultant agrees to report any violation to the Owner immediately upon discovery. The Owner assumes responsibility for notifying the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Federal Aviation Administration. Consultant also agrees that it shall at all times comply with all applicable state air and water quality standards; with all pollution control laws; and with such rules, regulations, and directives as may be lawfully issued by a local, state, or federal agency having within its jurisdiction the protection of the environment in the area surrounding where work under this Agreement will be performed. Consultant must include this requirement in all subcontracts that exceed $150,000.
