Common use of CLEANING UP Clause in Contracts

CLEANING UP. Contractor shall, at all times, keep the Site of the Construction free from accumulations of waste material or rubbish caused by the performance of the Construction by Contractor, and at the completion of the Construction, Contractor shall remove from the Site of the Construction all such waste material and rubbish and all tools, scaffolding, and surplus materials belonging to Contractor and/or Contractor’s Subcontractors, laborers, or materialmen, it being specifically understood that at the close of Construction and prior to turning over the premises to District for beneficial use and occupancy, Contractor shall leave the Site “broom clean,” or its equivalent, unless more exactly specified.
