Common use of CLEC Contracts Clause in Contracts

CLEC Contracts. CLEC shall include language in its future contracts for services provided to third parties and its End Users using services obtained from CenturyLink, provide that in no case shall CLEC’s suppliers or contractors (including CenturyLink) be liable for any indirect, incidental, reliance, special, consequential or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, economic loss or lost business or profits, whether foreseeable or not, and regardless of notification of the possibility of such damages, and CLEC shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless CenturyLink and CenturyLink’s Indemnitee Group from any and all claims, demands, causes of action and liabilities by or to, and based on any reason whatsoever, CLEC, CLEC’s End User(s), suppliers, agents, employees, or any other third parties.
