Common use of CMS Audit Clause in Contracts

CMS Audit. In addition to the auditing requirements stipulated in this contract, CMS reserves the right to audit any organization implementation of, and/or adherence to these requirements. This includes the right to require that any organizations utilizing the Internet for transmission of CMS Privacy Act-protected, Medicaid confidential information and/or other sensitive information submit documentation to demonstrate that they meet these requirements.
