Common use of COLLECTION FROM MULTIPLE CONSUMERS Clause in Contracts

COLLECTION FROM MULTIPLE CONSUMERS. If two or more individuals make a single application for service together, the Cooperative may collect the full amount owed from any one of the applicants. No joint membership will be converted to an individual membership at the request of the joint members until the balance of the account is paid in full. In the event of the death of a joint member, Section 3.b of the Bylaws will be followed with regard to debts due to the Cooperative.
