Transition from Existing Evaluation System. The parties may agree that 50% of more of Educators in the district will be evaluated under the new procedures at the outset of this Agreement, and 50% or fewer will be evaluated under the former evaluation procedures for the first year of implementation of the new procedures in this Agreement.

D) The existing evaluation system will remain in effect until the provisions set forth in this Article are implemented. Transition from Existing Evaluation System. A. The parties agree to determining a method to reassign Educators to a place in the cycle. PTS Educators may be assigned to Year 1, Year 2, or Year 3. Educators without PTS (NPTS) will be assigned to the next sequential year in their evaluation cycle until they achieve PTS at which point they will be placed on Year 1 for Educators with PTS. Notification to the Educator about the Educator’s placement on the evaluation cycle will be provided by the first day of the school year. B.
