Common use of Collection of Pre-existing Debt Clause in Contracts

Collection of Pre-existing Debt. Merchant may not prepare and present to Provider any Transaction representing the refinancing of an existing Cardholder obligation, including, but not limited to, obligations: (a) previously owed to Merchant; (b) arising from the dishonor of a Cardholder's personal check or relating to a Chargeback; or (c) representing the collection of any other pre-existing indebtedness, including collection of delinquent accounts on behalf of third parties.

Collection of Pre-existing Debt. Merchant may not prepare and present to Provider Servicer for purchase any Transaction representing the refinancing of an existing Cardholder obligation, obligation including, but not limited to, obligations: (a) previously owed to Merchant; (b) arising from the dishonor of a Cardholder's personal check or relating to a Chargeback; or (c) representing the collection of any other pre-existing indebtedness, including collection of delinquent accounts on behalf of third parties.

Merchant may shall not prepare and present to Provider any Transaction Card transaction representing the refinancing of an existing obligation of a Cardholder obligation, including, but not limited to, obligations: to obligations (ai) previously owed to Merchant; , (bii) arising from the dishonor of a Cardholder's ’s personal check or relating to a Chargeback; or check, and/or (ciii) representing the collection of any other pre-existing indebtedness, including collection of delinquent accounts on behalf of third parties.

Merchant may not prepare and present to Provider Peoples Trust for collection any Transaction representing the refinancing of an existing Cardholder obligation, obligation including, but not limited to, obligations: (a) previously owed to Merchant; (b) arising from the dishonor of a Cardholder's ’s personal check cheque or relating to a Chargeback; or (c) representing the collection of any other pre-existing indebtedness, including collection of delinquent accounts on behalf of third parties.

Merchant may not prepare and present to Provider Bank for purchase any Transaction representing the refinancing of an existing exist- ing Cardholder obligation, obligation including, but not limited to, obligations: (a) previously owed to Merchant; (b) arising from the dishonor of a Cardholder's personal check or relating to a Chargeback; or (c) representing the collection of any other pre-existing indebtedness, including collection of delinquent accounts on behalf of third parties.
