Common use of Commencement and Completion Deadline for Redeveloper Improvements Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Completion Deadline for Redeveloper Improvements. The Redeveloper shall commence construction of the Redeveloper Undertakings on the Project Site within sixty (60) days following receipt of a notice to proceed (“Notice to Proceed”) issued by the Urban Development Department Director. The Notice to Proceed shall only be issued upon receipt of the Redeveloper’s request for the Notice to Proceed, certifying that all conditions precedent to commencement of the work have been completed and requesting authorization to commence the work. The form of the Request for Notice to Proceed is attached hereto as Exhibit (90) days following the Date of this Agreement and agree to substantially complete the same Redeveloper Improvements on or before twelve (12) months from the date of commencement of the Redeveloper Improvements (“Completion Date”).
