Common use of Commission Charge-Back Clause in Contracts

Commission Charge-Back. Company shall have the right, while this Agreement is in effect, to write off as bad debts such overdue customer accounts, as it deems appropriate. The Company may notify the Agent and provide the Agent the opportunity to attempt to induce payment from the customer. In each such case, Company may charge back to Agent’s account any amounts previously paid to Agent, in its sole discretion. If such accounts are paid by the customer at any time, Agent shall be entitled to the applicable commissions.
