Committee Appointments. Members of the transfer screening committee and transfer interview committee shall be taken from the general hiring committee. The hiring committee will determine the appointments to the transfer screening and interview committees under conditions in Sections 5.3.2.1 and 5.3.2.2.
Committee Appointments. The Parties agree to circulate to all Employees, by September 30 of each year, a list of the committees related to University and Union governance, their membership, vacancies on these committees and procedures to fill them.
Committee Appointments. A. The parties acknowledge that the Employer may, from time to time, form committees in addition to those to which this Agreement specifically refers, to discuss and/or provide recommendations addressing various matters relating to or affecting bargaining unit employees.
B. In the interest of labor-management cooperation, the parties agree that any committee, discussion group or like entity formed by the Employer to discuss and/or provide recommendations regarding any matter(s) relating to or affecting bargaining unit employees will include an appropriate number of Union representatives. Bargaining unit employees who serve on such committees, discussion groups or like entities will be selected by and within the sole discretion of the President of the Union.
C. Prior to the formation of any such committee, discussion group or like entity, the Employer will notify the President of the Union as soon as practicable normally at least ten (10) business days prior to the first scheduled meeting of such committee, discussion group or like entity.
Committee Appointments. The Association shall have the right to appoint one (1) Member of the Bargaining Unit to serve on District wide and/or site committees that require participation by certified personnel (example: curriculum committee, discipline committee, textbook committee, technology committee). Committee Appointments. The College agrees to provide to the Federation annually a list of College committees by May 15 of each year, including those detailed in Appendix B of this agreement.
Committee Appointments. When the District seeks to include representation from the various bargaining units on District-wide committees, AALA shall have the right to participate. The District shall notify AALA and specify the background, educational level and experience required of the AALA represented employees participating on the committee. AALA shall have the right to designate one- third of such employee representatives, and to replace those it has appointed.
Committee Appointments. The Association shall have the right to appoint one (1) member to the District Calendar Committee.
Committee Appointments. In order to appoint an appropriate number of support staff employees to yearly College committees, the President of the Union shall, upon request from the Board or their designee, forward a list of volunteers to serve on each standing committee. The number of appointees on each committee may vary in number yearly, but for the Insurance Committee, the number shall be proportionate to the size of the represented group.
Committee Appointments. The Board shall not designate an executive committee or any other committee which has been delegated authority substantially similar to the authority of the full Board unless at least one Sponsor Director is also appointed as a member of such Committee.
Committee Appointments. The Union will make appointments to the Department Safety and Insurance Committees. The Department Head will determine the size of the Department Safety Com- mittee. The Insurance Committee will include one appointment from Public Service, one appointment from Fleet Management and one from Parks & Recreation.
