Commute Incentive Clause Samples

A Commute Incentive clause establishes benefits or reimbursements provided to employees to offset the costs or burdens of commuting to work. This may include provisions such as transportation allowances, parking subsidies, or reimbursement for public transit expenses, and can apply to employees who travel a certain distance or use specific modes of transportation. The core function of this clause is to encourage employee attendance and punctuality by reducing the financial or logistical barriers associated with commuting, thereby supporting workforce retention and satisfaction.
Commute Incentive. The District will evaluate the value of this benefit for the AFSCME employees. The District may suggest an alternate benefit of similar cost and implement this benefit with approval from the Fire Chief. Any recommended alternate benefit with a significant cost difference will be presented to the Board for approval.
Commute Incentive. It is the City’s interest to reduce single occupancy vehicle trips to the extent possible in order to address current traffic and environmental challenges. During the term of this agreement, the parties shall meet and confer on changes to the City’s commute incentive and parking program adopted by the City Council.
