Compensated Activities Clause Samples
The 'Compensated Activities' clause defines which specific tasks, services, or duties performed by a party will be eligible for payment under the agreement. It typically outlines the scope of work that qualifies for compensation, such as consulting hours, deliverables, or project milestones, and may specify exclusions or limitations. By clearly identifying what activities are compensated, this clause helps prevent disputes over payment and ensures both parties have a mutual understanding of their financial obligations.
Compensated Activities. Compensated activities are any activities published by the District as additional salary positions. These include, but are not limited to: curriculum committees, staff development activities, extra-curricular activities, student assistance programs, homebound teaching, District task forces, and new teacher's meetings. Teachers may petition the Superintendent for additional compensated hours if denied by the building principal.
Compensated Activities. Covered employees must provide their supervisors with written notice before engaging in compensated activity. The notice shall be given at least 20 days before engaging in the activity, unless the nature or timing of the activity requires a shorter notice period. In any case, the notice must provide the Agency with sufficient time to determine whether the activity is expected to involve conduct prohibited by statute or Federal regulation.
