Common use of Compensation for Costs Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Costs. 16. The Owner agrees to compensate the Municipality for the cost of involvement of the Municipality’s retained legal counsel in the review and preparation of this Agreement on behalf of the Municipality. The Owner shall make payment to the Municipality by cheque or by certified cheque if required by the Municipality, in its discretion, within thirty (30) days of demand being provided in writing by the Municipality.
