Compensation for deputizing. 1. You will be compensated if, at the request of your employer, you fully deputized for a colleague in a different and higher graded position. 2. The substitution allowance will be equal to the difference between your salary and the salary you would have received if you had been appointed to the position of the person you deputized for. The allowance will take effect retroactively from the moment that you continuously filled the other position for more than one month and will lapse as soon as your role ends.
