Compensation for Performing Out-of-Class Duties. An employee who is assigned out-of-class duties in excess of five (5) consecutive scheduled workdays shall receive the appropriate rate of pay on the salary wage scale or the employee’s current rate of pay, whichever is greater, for the duration of the assignment. Starting on the sixth (6th) consecutive workday, the employee shall be compensated the hourly rate according to the bargaining unit position classification as set forth in Section 11.1.
