Competition Policy. 1. The Parties recognize the importance of cooperation and technical assistance between their national competition authorities, including inter alia, the exchange of information and experiences, and the improvement of technical capacities in order to reinforce their competition policies.
2. In this sense, cooperation shall be conducted in accordance with their respective domestic laws and through their national competition authorities, who may sign a cooperation agreement.
Competition Policy. The Parties shall promote the effective establishment and application of competition rules and the dissemination of information in order to xxxxxx transparency and legal certainty for enterprises operating in each other's markets.
Competition Policy. The Parties shall promote competition in economic activities through enforcing their respective competition laws and regulations. The Parties agree to share information on competition policy and related issues and to enhance cooperation between their competition authorities.
Competition Policy. 1. The Parties shall promote the establishment and maintenance of competition rules and authorities to implement them. They shall promote the application of these rules in an effective, non-discriminatory and transparent way in order to xxxxxx legal certainty in their respective territories.
2. To this end, the Parties will engage in capacity-building activities in the area of competition policy subject to the availability of funding for such activities under the Parties' cooperation instruments and programmes.
Competition Policy. 1. The Parties agree that the introduction and implementation of effective and sound competition policies and rules are of crucial importance in order to improve and secure an investment friendly climate, a sustainable industrialisation process and transparency in the access to markets.
2. To ensure the elimination of distortions to sound competition and with due consideration to the different levels of development and economic needs of each ACP country, they undertake to implement national or regional rules and policies including the control and under certain conditions the prohibition of agreements between undertakings, decisions by associations of undertakings and concerted practices between undertakings which have as their object or effect the prevention, restriction or distortion of competition. The Parties further agree to prohibit the abuse by one or more undertakings of a dominant position in the common market of the Community or in the territory of ACP States.
3. The Parties also agree to reinforce cooperation in this area with a view to formulating and supporting effective competition policies with the appropriate national competition agencies that progressively ensure the efficient enforcement of the competition rules by both private and state enterprises. Cooperation in this area shall, in particular, include assistance in the drafting of an appropriate legal framework and its administrative enforcement with particular reference to the special situation of the least developed countries.
Competition Policy. 1. The Parties shall xxxxxx fair competition in economic activities by fully enforcing their competition laws and regulations.
2. In pursuit of the goal of paragraph 1 of this Article and in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the European Community concerning cooperation on anti-competitive activities, the Parties shall undertake to cooperate in:
a) recognising the importance of competition law and competition authorities and striving to proactively enforce the law in order to create an environment for fair competition;
b) sharing information and enhancing cooperation between competition authorities.
Competition Policy. 1. Member States agree that there shall be competition policies in each Member State.
2. Member States shall co-operate with each other with respect to the enforcement of competition laws and regulations.
Competition Policy. Subject to its laws, regulations and decisions regarding competition, each Signatory Party shall accord to the individuals and companies of the other Party such treatment as necessary to the pursuit of their activities under this Agreement. This Article shall not be subject to Chapter XI (Dispute Settlement) of this Agreement.

Competition Policy. (a) The Parties recognise that anti-competitive practices may undermine principles of transparency, non-discrimination and procedural fairness and can become obstacles to economic integration as they deter cross border trade and investments through artificial barriers to entry.
(b) The Parties agree to develop a collaborative frameworkaccording to existing competition lawbetween the Competition Commission of both countries:
(i) on building capacity to enhance competition framework to prevent unfair and anti-competitive practices
(ii) for effective investigation to promote fair competition.
