Competitions and Ownership of Rights. FIFA, as the founder of the Competitions and world governing body of Association Football and based on its organisational, logistical and financial contributions, roles and responsibilities for the hosting and staging of the Competitions, has ultimate authority over the manner in which all FIFA competitions, including the Competitions, are staged and organised. Further, FIFA exclusively and solely owns and controls on a world-wide basis any and all Media Rights, Marketing Rights, Intellectual Property Rights and all other commercial or other rights and opportunities, including any title and interest in, and in relation to, the Competitions, including any Competition- related Events, whether existing or created in the future.
