Compliance with Civil Rights Laws. ‌ Contractor hereby assures that it will comply with Subchapter VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC Sections 2000 (e) (1) through 2000 (e) (17), to the end that no person will, on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, age, condition of physical handicap, marital status, political affiliation, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Master Agreement or under any project, program, or activity supported by this Master Agreement. Additionally, Contractor certifies to the County: a. That Contractor has a written policy statement prohibiting discrimination in all phases of employment, b. That Contractor periodically conducts a self-analysis or utilization analysis of its work force, c. That Contractor has a system for determining if its employment practices are discriminatory against protected groups, and d. Where problem areas are identified in employment practices, that Contractor has a system for taking reasonable corrective action, to include establishment of goals or timetables.
