Compliance with Drug Testing Minimum Standards and Methodology. 3.2.1 Forensic drug testing is a laboratory specialty related to the testing of urine and other specimens for drugs of abuse. It is performed for non-medical purposes, including law enforcement and employment-related screening. Contractor’s Laboratory Service Provider may be free-standing or a section of a medical or forensic laboratory. Contractor’s Laboratory Service Provider shall be in compliance with the drug testing minimum standards of either the: (a) College of American Pathologists Forensic Drug Testing Accreditation Program; or (b) U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Contractor’s Laboratory Service Provider shall provide evidence of such compliance prior to the commencement of services under this Contract.
