Common use of COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS; CONFLICT OF TERMS Clause in Contracts

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS; CONFLICT OF TERMS. GRANTEE shall comply with the applicable requirements of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and with applicable regulations, policies, guidelines, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) circulars, and field memoranda promulgated by United States Department of Labor (DOL), the State of California and CITY, and/or any legislation which may replace the ARPA, and all other applicable federal, state and local rules, regulations and laws. Moreover, neither CITY nor GRANTEE shall make any payments that would be in violation of any law existing during the term of this Agreement, including but not limited to any maximum amount of administrative fee(s). Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, GRANTEE shall comply with the provisions of CITY’s Business Tax Ordinance in Chapter 4.76 of the San Xxxx Municipal Code.

Moreover, neither nether CITY nor GRANTEE CONTRACTOR shall make any payments that would be in violation of any law existing during the term of this Agreement, including but not limited to any maximum amount of administrative fee(s). Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, GRANTEE CONTRACTOR shall comply with the provisions of CITY’s Business Tax Ordinance in Chapter 4.76 of the San Xxxx Municipal Code.
