COMPLIANCE WITH PLANNING/PERMITTING REGULATIONS AND LAWS. The Sub-Recipient is responsible for the implementation and completion of the approved projects described in the Project Worksheets in a manner acceptable to Recipient, and in accordance with applicable Local, State, and Federal legal requirements. If applicable, the contract documents for any project undertaken by the Sub-grantee/Sub-Recipient, and any land use permitted by or engaged in by the Sub-grantee/Sub-Recipient, must be consistent with the local government comprehensive plan. The Sub-Recipient must ensure that any development or development order complies with all applicable planning, permitting, and building requirements including, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act. The Sub-Recipient must engage such competent, properly licensed, engineering, environmental, archeological, building, and other technical and professional assistance at all project sites as may be needed to ensure that the project complies with the contract documents.
