Common use of Comply with Acts Clause in Contracts

Comply with Acts. 4.19.1 The Tenant must do everything required under and must not breach any Act in respect of the Premises and their use and occupation and the exercise of the rights granted to the Tenant under this Lease. 4.19.2 The Tenant must not do or fail to do anything in respect of the Premises or the Building or their use and occupation the effect of which could make the Landlord liable to pay any penalty, damages, compensation, costs or charges under any Act. 4.19.3 The Tenant must promptly notify the Landlord of any defect or disrepair in the Premises that may make the Landlord liable under any Act or under this Lease.
