Common use of Comprehensive General Clause in Contracts

Comprehensive General. Liability Insurance insuring Tenant against any liability arising out of the lease, use, occupancy or maintenance of the Premises and all areas appurtenant thereto. Such insurance shall be in the amount of $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for injury to, or death of one or more persons in an occurrence, and for damage to tangible property (including loss of use) in an occurrence, with such liability amount to be adjusted from year to year to reflect increases in the Consumer Price Index. The policy shall insure the hazards of the Premises and Tenaxx'x Xperations thereon, independent contractors, contractual liability (covering the indemnity contained in Paragraph 20 hereof) and shall (a) name Landlord as an additional insured, (b) contain a cross liability provision and (c) contain a provision that the insurance provided the Landlord hereunder shall be primary and non-contributing with any other insurance available to the Landlord.
