Comprehensive Leave Eligible Employee donations to an Emergency Medical Leave Fund. Pilot Program. A. The County will create a pilot program, whereby a comprehensive leave eligible employee may donate a portion of their accrued leave hours (i.e., vacation leave, sick leave, BT, ESL) to an “Emergency Medical Leave Fund” (Fund) that is managed by DHR. At the County’s discretion, the pilot program can either be continued as a regular program or discontinued upon 30-day written notice to the Coalition Co-Chairs. B. Donation of Vacation BT hours. An employee is limited to donating 80 hours of accrued vacation (or BT time) per calendar year to this Fund unless the employee’s department director approves a greater amount. C. Process and Conditions to receive hours from the Emergency Medical Leave Fund.
