Comprehensive Mitigation Amount. The Commonwealth requests, and MVP agrees to promptly pay, a compensatory mitigation payment in the total amount of Twenty Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($27,500,000) for the purpose of providing comprehensive mitigation of adverse impacts to, and to otherwise benefit, natural resources in Virginia, subject to the terms and conditions established herein (the “Mitigation Amount”).
