Common use of Comprehensive Plans Clause in Contracts

Comprehensive Plans. The Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, is authorized to co- operate with any State in the preparation of comprehensive plans for the development, uti- lization, and conservation of the water and re- lated resources of drainage basins, watersheds, or ecosystems located within the boundaries of such State and to submit to Congress re- ports and recommendations with respect to appropriate Federal participation in carrying out such plans.

Comprehensive Plans. The Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, is authorized to co- operate with any State or other non-Federal interest working with a State in the preparation prepara- tion of comprehensive plans for the developmentdevelop- ment, uti- lizationutilization, and conservation of the water and re- lated related resources of drainage basins, watersheds, or ecosystems located within the boundaries of such State State, including plans to comprehensively address water resources chal- lenges, and to submit to Congress re- ports reports and recommendations with respect to appropriate Federal participation in carrying out such plans.
