Compulsory Contributions. All of the preceding benefits are compulsory for permanent full-time employees and permanent part-time employees who work fifteen (15) hours per week or more and were employed as of May 29, 1996. Permanent part-time employees hired after May 29, 1996 shall participate in the preceding benefits on a pro-rata basis, using the number of hours they regularly work compared to a full-time employee. Permanent part-time employees who are regularly employed for less than fifteen (15) hours per week and are not enrolled in OMERS will receive ten percent (10%) of their regular earnings in lieu of the benefits in Article 25.
